4. New Business – Higher Education Affordability – Chair Criser
   • Continuation of initial discussions by Council earlier this year and for 2013 agenda.
     1. Focus on the Value of Higher Education – What are the elements and the return on investment(s) made by and for individual students, business/industry, the state, families, and society.
     2. What Are Relevant Costs? (Student/Parent, Institution, and State)
     3. Capturing costs based on all entrants, not just degree/certificate recipients
   • Smart College Choices – Chancellor Randy Hanna
     A Florida College System program to help students make more informed decisions about which school and which field of study to pick.

5. Next Meeting Date – Finalizing Annual Report
   *The date of December 11, originally scheduled for HECC is a date now in conflict with SBE meeting.
   *Establishing a regular meeting date schedule for 2013.
