Higher Education Coordinating Council Co-Chairs to Meet by Conference Call on June 27, 2011
Jon Moyle and Marshall M. Criser, III, Co chairs of the Higher Education Coordinating Council will meet by conference call on June 27, 2011. The conference call meeting will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the agenda for the upcoming Council meeting to be held on July 14, 2011 in Tallahassee.

The seven (7) member Council was established to identify unmet needs and to facilitate solutions to disputes regarding the creation of new degree programs and the establishment of new institutes, campuses, or centers. The purpose of the Council is to make recommendations to the Legislature, the State Board of Education, and the Board of Governors, State University System of Florida.
The Board of Governors is the constitutional body created by voters in 2002 to guide the State University System of Florida.
