Higher Education Coordinating Council To Meet November 16, 2011
The Members of the Higher Education Coordinating Council will hold a meeting on November 16, 2011 to which all persons are invited to attend. The public meeting will be held in the Turlington Building on the 17th Floor.

The seven (7) member Council was established to identify unmet needs and to facilitate solutions to disputes regarding the creation of new degree programs and the establishment of new institutes, campuses, or centers. The Council's charge is to make recommendations to the Legislature, the State Board of Education, and the Board of Governors, State University System of Florida. The purpose of this meeting is to review the work of the Council's subcommittee recommendations and to continue to gather input from different sectors of higher education.
The Board of Governors is the constitutional body created by voters in 2002 to guide the State University System of Florida.
