Higher Education Coordinating Council Scheduled To Meet by Conference Call May 30, 2102
The Members of the Higher Education Coordinating Council will hold a conference call meeting on May 30, 2012 to which all persons are invited to attend. The purpose of this conference call is to discuss the agenda for the June meeting.

The seven (7) member Council was established to identify unmet needs and to facilitate solutions to disputes regarding the creation of new degree programs and the establishment of new institutes, campuses, or centers. The Council's charge is to make recommendations to the Legislature, the State Board of Education, and the Board of Governors, State University System of Florida. The purpose of this meeting is to review the work of the Council's subcommittee recommendations and to continue to gather input from different sectors of higher education.
The Board of Governors is the constitutional body created by voters in 2002 to guide the State University System of Florida.
